Product Description
Used as an acidulant, fumaric acid has bacteriostatic and antiseptic functions. It can also be used as an acidity regulator, acidifier, thermal oxidation resistant aid, curing accelerator and spice. As an acidic substance of effervescent agent, it can produce long-lasting and exquisite bubbles.
Fumaric acid can also be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate and optical brightener. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to produce antidotes such as dimercaptosuccinic acid sodium and ferrous fumarate. Fumaric acid is also used in the production of unsaturated polyester resin.
