Sodium hyaluronate itself is a component of human skin. It is a widely distributed acidic mucosity sugar in the human body. It exists in the matrix of connective tissue and has a good moisturizing effect. It is known as an ideal natural moisturizing factor internationally. It is the substance with the best moisturizing performance in cosmetics currently found in nature.

Hyaluronic acid (HA for short) is a mucopolysaccharide composed of N-acetylglucosamine and glucuronic acid disaccharide repeating units. Commercial HA is usually in the form of its sodium salt, called sodium hyaluronate. HA is widely present in the interstitial cells of animal tissues and the vitreous body of the eye. Its main physiological function is water retention and lubrication. 75% of the fluid in the human eye is hyaluronic acid.

Characteristics and advantages of hyaluronic acid:
1. Transdermal absorption
The transdermal absorption of oligomeric HA was tested using a skin model, and the transdermal absorption rate was as high as 69.5%.
