L-citrulline DL-malate 2:1 powder is a compound consisting of citrulline and malic acid. L-citrulline is an amino acid that is produced naturally by the body and is found in the heart, muscles, and brain tissue. Malic acid is a naturally occurring acid that is found in fruits.

L-Citrulline Powder is meant to be converted into L-Arginine by the body. The addition of L-Citrulline allows for there to be a greater amount of unabsorbed L-Arginine once this amino acid passes through the digestive system.
