What is Gamma-aminobutyric acid? Gamma-aminobutyric acid, also known as GABA, is amino acid found in a wide range of vertebrates, plants, and microorganisms. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that is present in our brains. As an inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA acts on excitatory nerves. After binding with receptors on excitatory synapses, the neuronal endings are unable to release neurotransmitters to the next neuron, and the signal transduction between nerves is interrupted, so as to achieve the effect of inhibiting excitement, smoothing emotions and promoting sleep. |
Application & Function 1. Help sleep 2. Relieve the pression 3. Control your anxiety |
